Drainage London 247

Pricing

The price you hear is the price you pay

A no-dig repair decision starts with a CCTV survey, so we price it like a diagnosis: a fixed fee agreed before we attend. Rates depend on time of day — see the table below. Relining or excavation is quoted separately, after the survey shows what the pipe actually needs.

Blocked Drain Clearance

  • High-pressure jetting
  • CCTV check on request
  • Fixed price agreed before we start
  • No clear, no charge

Most domestic blockages — typically a 1–2 hour visit.

Most requested

CCTV Drain Survey

  • Full-length camera survey
  • Defect coding and distances
  • Written report available
  • The diagnosis that makes no-dig possible

The starting point for any relining or root-cutting decision.

No-Dig Relining

  • CIPP resin liner cured in place
  • No excavation in most cases
  • Per-section pricing after survey
  • Repairs a cracked or displaced pipe from inside

For drains the CCTV survey confirms are suitable for lining.

Root Cutting

  • Mechanical root cutter
  • Clears ingress without removing pipe
  • Often paired with a CCTV check
  • Restores flow same visit

For root-affected drains found on survey or during clearance.

Excavation Repair

  • Only quoted once no-dig is ruled out
  • Full written scope before work starts
  • Reinstatement included in the quote
  • Honest alternative when relining won't hold

The last-resort option, quoted separately and explained first.

Emergency call-outs are quoted the same way: call-out and first-hour rate stated when you book, out-of-hours uplift stated as an exact figure, any relining or excavation beyond the first hour agreed before it happens.

Four pricing principles

Quoted before we travel

The visit fee and any out-of-hours uplift are agreed when you book — never announced on arrival.

Survey before relining or excavation

No-dig or dig is decided by what the CCTV camera actually shows, then priced accordingly — not assumed from symptoms.

Repairs priced separately

The survey tells us the scope; then the repair is quoted before any work starts. You can decline with no obligation.

No invented extras

No “equipment charges”, no “report admin fees” you didn't agree to, no weekend multipliers hidden in the small print.

Pricing questions

What decides whether my job is priced as no-dig or excavation?

The CCTV survey. A cracked or displaced pipe in reasonable condition usually qualifies for relining; a full collapse or wrong fall usually doesn't. We confirm which category your job falls into, and the price that follows, only after the survey.

Does the survey fee come off the repair cost?

Survey and repair are priced separately so each stands on its own merit — the survey fee is what it is regardless of what we find, and the repair quote carries no obligation.

Will insurance or a managing agent accept your report?

CCTV survey reports include footage, defect codes and distances — the format managing agents, surveyors and insurers typically expect for a documented drainage issue.

What if the blockage turns out to be something simple?

Then we tell you and clear it at the standard clearance price. A straightforward jetting job doesn't get dressed up as a full survey and reline.

Is there a call-out fee on top of the job price?

Where a call-out or minimum charge applies it is shown on this page and confirmed when you book. We do not invent equipment surcharges or report admin fees after the visit.

Do night and weekend rates apply to every borough?

Time bands apply London-wide. The uplift is about when the engineer attends, not which postcode. Outer boroughs use the same fixed prices as central London for the same job type.

Can I get a written quote for my postcode?

Yes. Send the symptoms, property type and postcode via the contact form. We reply with the fixed price for the right job type, the earliest window and whether out-of-hours rates apply — before you commit.
